Thank you very much for your message of concern and sympathy. I and my
colleagues really appreciate it.
Yesterday was the first day for me to be able to work at my desk in the
office since last Friday because we were unable to get to the office due
to serious problems not only with public transportation system but also
with the power supply systems in eastern Japan and those in the building
of our laboratories.
We now have had a "planned power cuts" for a few hours a day in eastern
Japan.
I do hope the situation will improve soon and that as many lives will be
saved as it is possible.
